Who We Are

NAWT believes in passing the button stick to the upcoming generations, where we expand development work focusing mainly on our progressive elements of the African Heritage.

About Us

At NAWT, we place heritage (Nhaka) at the center of all our developmental activities. Our identity can be summed up by a commitment to creating sustainable development and mobilizing resources with willing partners. Over the years, countless national and international partners have supported and shared our ethos.

  • Our principles emphasize collaboration with national and international partners who align with our values.
  • Our development work is anchored on five thematic areas which are heritage, youth and women empowerment, and orphans and vulnerable children, health, hygiene and sanitation, climate change environment and conservation.

Nhaka Afrikan Worldview Trust (NAWT) is a registered Trust under Zimbabwean law (MA 305/2007). Since 2005, we have built a strong foundation in Manicaland Province, Zimbabwe, particularly in Mutasa District, and are currently expanding into Mashonaland East, Mashonaland Central, and Matebeleland North.

Regionally, we are strengthening cooperation with sister organizations in Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia. Internationally, we collaborate with partners in Denmark, including Seniors without Borders, Nhakas Venner, and Afrikansk Horisont, as we work together towards achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
